What is Carbon-Neutral Gardening?
All our vetted service partners and professionals have all committed to delivering a carbon neutral garden maintenance service. Together we're minimising our carbon emissions through:
- Battery Operated Tools: Less noise and less emissions than alternative petrol or plug-in tools.
- Electric Vehicles: The majority of our service professionals use zero-emission electric vehicles.
- Sustainable Practices: We prioritise organic feeds and treatments and water conservation techniques.
- Green Waste Management: We'll happily leave your green waste in your own compost heap, but if you'd like us to take it with us we ensure it is disposed off sustainably.
Any unavoidable emissions are offset through UN Verified Carbon Reduction Projects and all our TMH Partners and direct employees are personally carbon neutral.
Unruly Bush? Our Experts Are Here To Keep You Tidy
Regular maintenance of your hedges, bushes and boundaries will keep your garden looking much tidier year round (and ensure you don't fall foul of the council if they overhang public rights of way).
Our approved teams of trimming professionals carry battery-operated - so zero emission, and low noise - hedge trimmers, loppers and hand tools to ensure everything is kept in tip-top shape throughout the year.
We offer one-off visits to get you back to basics, or our more popular subscription offer (hedge trimming is also included in our regular garden maintenance subscription too!).

Orders sent directly from Thoroughly Modern Housekeeper aim to arrive within 2-5 working days. Sooner if we can! We use DPD as our main courier partner and you will be sent a tracking link as soon as your order is picked and packed.
Direct From Supplier
Products that are sent direct from our suppliers are defined in the Additional Information tab on the product pages. These products are outside of our 2-5 working day delivery times as they are sent outside of our control - though that is not to say they may not arrive in this period.
